External Angle Plot
Robert P. Munafo, 2003 Oct 6.
A Mandelbrot set image that shows External Angles.
The simplest is the binary decomposition method, which amounts to setting a high escape radius and choosing one color or another based on whether the final (escaped) value of Z is above or below the real axis.
More elaborate external angle plots can pick from several or many colors, to try to show the angle in greater detail.
