Cantor dust
Robert P. Munafo, 2008 Feb 1.
A Julia set that is not connected. So-named because Cantor discovered and studied them, and because it visually resembles dust, being composed entirely of points that are not part of a larger connected subset.
From the Mandelbrot Set Glossary and Encyclopedia, by Robert Munafo, (c) 1987-2024.
