Bond

A point where two mu-atoms meet. The parent "binds to" the child through the bond, and the two are said to be adjacent. See also cusp.
This use of the word 'bond' was introduced by Benoit Mandelbrot in his description of the Mandelbrot set in The Fractal Geometry of Nature.
